Back to Xalapa

Cancun airport was packed full of people flying to places like Dallas and Tampa. There were only a handful of us on the plane to Veracruz – us and a few businessmen. We were delayed a bit and had missed the bus back to Xalapa. The next one was in 2 hours so we thought we’d splash out and take a taxi. The cash machine was broken and we were 100 pesos short of the pay-in-advance fare. I love how flexible Mexicans are, the guy at the taxi place was very relaxed and said we could stop for cash on the way – just pay the driver what was owed.
